HELLO, AND WELCOME!

Dave Linehan

Dave Linehan is a chartered engineer and certified project manager. For the past two years he has led the research team at Wind Energy Ireland, Ireland’s leading renewable energy trade association. He also currently serves as vice-chair of the Energy and Climate Action Committee at Engineers Ireland.

Dave graduated from UCC in 2013 with a degree in Energy Engineering, and then spent close to eight years with the Irish transmission system operator, EirGrid. He’s a former chair of the Young Engineers Society and a board member for the Irish Project Management Institute. He regularly posts up to date professional updates on Twitter and LinkedIn (not on TikTok yet though!).

Dave launched version one of this website in 2015, as a repository for college projects, work news, and musings on public speaking and other interests. This soon evolved into a large collection of blog posts about communication and public speaking skills, still included on the site today. A couple of years later Dave followed up with a mini series public speaking podcast called Tribe of Speakers. In 2020, during a gap year spent travelling across the world, Dave refreshed all his content once again, and self published a book called Bulletproof: The Official Guide to Public Speaking. Links are shared below.
